Borrow from your library · a guide for grown-ups
Your library card, on their app.
Many public libraries lend children's ebooks and audiobooks through outside services. This page explains how. Borrowing happens on the provider's website or app, never here.
What we do not do
- We never ask for, check or store your library card number or PIN.
- We do not look up your location or your library.
- We cannot see whether you are signed in to a provider or what you borrow.
- We are not partners with Libby, Hoopla or any library.
Four steps, all on the provider
- Step 1
Find your library
Open the provider's own app or website and search for your library there, by name or as the provider asks.
- Step 2
Choose a participating library
Pick your library if it appears. Not every library offers both services, and some offer neither.
- Step 3
Sign in on the official provider
Enter your library card number and PIN only on Libby or Hoopla, never on our site. We do not ask for them.
- Step 4
Browse, search and borrow
Look for the children's or kids' section, search for titles, and borrow under your library's terms.

Optional: find ideas first
External book discovery and reading guidance. These are not books uploaded here and do not check or verify any library card.
